GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026, and most of the dates around it are now set. Here they are in order, from Rockstar’s own announcements to the ones that depend on a city council.
October
- October 15: “Vice City” branding can go up on Miami Beach chairs and umbrellas until December 31, if the city signs the deal its commission voted to negotiate in September (GTA 6 ads in Miami)
- With the start of the NBA season: Vice City activities inside the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat
November, before launch
- November: Take-Two reports its second quarter; the date hasn’t been announced
- November 12: pre-loading opens for digital pre-orders, and the physical edition, a box with a download code, goes on sale
- November 18, 7 p.m. Eastern (00:00 UTC on November 19): the Heat play the Milwaukee Bucks as Vice City on a one-off court
- November 18, 11:00 UTC: on PS5 the game starts unlocking region by region, from New Zealand; most regions get it at midnight local time on November 19 (times by region)
November 19
- GTA 6 comes out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
- GTA VI: The Album with 34 original songs; vinyl and CD editions go on sale the same day
- The GTA VI DualSense controllers, Black and White Limited Editions, 84.99 dollars
- The Goodtime State collector’s box starts shipping; the game is sold separately
- The last day to get the Vintage Vice City pack, which comes with any purchase made before November 20 (editions and bonuses)
Not on the calendar yet
Rockstar hasn’t given dates for a PC version or an online mode. As of October 5, Germany’s USK and Japan’s CERO haven’t rated the game.
