The night before GTA 6 comes out, Miami’s NBA team plays as Vice City. The Heat announced A Night in Vice City, made with Rockstar Games: on November 18 at 7 p.m. Eastern they host the Milwaukee Bucks at the Kaseya Center, on a court built for that one game and in a completely reimagined uniform.
What the Heat have announced
- Date and time: November 18, 2026, 7:00 p.m. Eastern (00:00 GMT on November 19)
- Court: special hardwood made for Vice City, used for one night
- Uniform: a new design, still under wraps; fans can sign up for the reveal
- Broadcast: ESPN nationally, Local 10 in South Florida
- Merchandise: a Vice City line from the Heat’s Court Culture brand, already on sale
More is promised: activities inside the arena starting on the season’s opening night, and extra activations on game night. The Heat say further details will come with Rockstar in the coming weeks (ESPN).
The sign is lit
The campaign started on October 1, when the “Welcome to Vice City” letters on the Kaseya Center roof lit up for the first time. A helicopter put them there on September 22 under a deal worth nearly $1 million between Rockstar and Miami-Dade County (how the sign went up).
The Heat have used a Vice look on alternate jerseys for years (ESPN), and this time the name comes from the game.
Next in line are Miami Beach’s chairs and umbrellas: the city commission voted in September to negotiate “Vice City” branding on them from October 15 to December 31 (GTA 6 ads in Miami).
