The phone

The phone in GTA 6 is an object in the character’s hand. It has Snapmatic you can only browse, the Ryde Me taxi, the WAINK car scanner, fitness and bank apps.

What we know

When Jason or Lucia takes out the phone, the camera zooms in on their hand instead of opening a menu. Snapmatic, the series’ Instagram parody, is there, but the couple are on the run and can’t post, only browse and follow accounts. Ryde Me works as fast travel, and WAINK scans cars before a theft (IGN, Famitsu).

Rob Nelson told Flow Games about Scooter Bros, a service that brings your car to you, and said apps and feeds change as the story moves on. Jason and Lucia text each other, and ignoring those texts can hurt their relationship (IGN).
