Is GTA 6 coming to PC? What we know about a computer version

We don’t know yet. Rockstar hasn’t announced a PC version, and on November 19, 2026, the game launches only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What Rockstar says

The official materials list only the two consoles. The studio hasn’t given a date for a PC version or even confirmed that there will be one.

A reported Xbox streaming deal doesn’t change that: Xbox says GTA 6 will not stream to PC (details).

How it went with past Rockstar games

• GTA 5: consoles in September 2013, PC in April 2015, 19 months later
• Red Dead Redemption 2: consoles in October 2018, PC in November 2019, 13 months later

So a later PC release is likely, though that’s a conclusion by analogy.

Our forecast

If Rockstar sticks to its usual approach, don’t expect a PC version before late 2027.

Update: on October 13 GamesBeat reported, citing four industry sources, that Rockstar plans the PC version for the first quarter of 2027, much sooner than usual (what the report says).
