Two weeks before launch, Rockstar added 39 new screenshots to the Launch Gallery on the GTA VI site and announced them on Newswire on November 5 (fact). Many are staged like posters rather than taken mid-play, and Rockstar doesn’t say which come from gameplay. Here is what they show.
Jason and Lucia on the job
Several shots look like robberies. In one, both wear bandanas over their faces in an office with a teller counter and green walls: Jason holds a stack of cash, Lucia an SMG, and the staff have their hands up.

In another, Lucia leans out of a convertible and fires past an armored truck while police cars and men on motorcycles close in. A third has three riders on dirt bikes tearing through a neon-lit building, one of them aiming an SMG.

Jason also gets a getaway of his own on a Principe sport bike, with a police SUV right behind him. Calmer shots show him at a bench press and the two of them on a grassy hill at sunset, sitting on a pickup with the city in the haze.
Vice City by day and night
The city shots run from a sunny marina full of yachts to a police chase over a canal bridge at dusk, a view straight down onto a resort pool and the downtown skyline at night. One sign is new to us: a giant tire reading Ricardo Tires above a neon gas station.

At a car meet, a woman takes a selfie on a wrapped muscle car. Other shots are portraits of locals: crews with face tattoos, a man with a pit bull on a chain, another in a barber’s chair surrounded by his people.

Grassrivers and the Keys
The swamp gets two night scenes. An airboat with spotlights cuts through the dark while an alligator’s red eye glows in the water, and at a fire-lit camp a man sits with a snake over his shoulder and a knife in his hand.

Under the water off the Keys, a diver swims beneath a boat over a reef, with a lionfish in front (scuba diving). And for the first time we see inside The Rusty Anchor, the Keys bar known so far only from its veranda: a band on a small stage, string lights and a dance floor full of locals.

All 39 shots are on Rockstar’s site at full size. Pre-loading opens on November 10, two days earlier than first planned: times and 212 GB.
