Carrying weapons

In GTA 6 you carry a few guns, not a whole arsenal: two handguns and two long guns, according to previews. Long guns stay visible, and the rest wait in the car trunk.

What we know

The Flow Games and TGG channels report a limit of two handguns and two long guns. Rob Nelson told Famitsu that long guns can’t be hidden, so you leave them in an Ammu-Nation locker, in your own car or in a stolen car’s trunk; walking around with one makes pedestrians react and can bring the police.

Fights don’t have to end in a kill: a shot to an arm or a leg puts an enemy down, and an accurate shot knocks the gun from their hand (IGN). TGG adds that Jason and Lucia can hand weapons to each other.
