Is GTA 6 coming to mobile? Android, iPhone and fake APKs

No. GTA 6 is a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S game, and there’s no mobile version, so every GTA 6 APK is fake. The one real way to play it on a phone is streaming from your own PS5 with Remote Play.

Officialconfirmed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two or an official platform

No. GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026 only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has mentioned a version for Android or iPhone. Any “GTA 6 APK” or “GTA 6 Mobile” download is a fake.

What Rockstar has announced

Rockstar lists two platforms on the game’s site, and Take-Two’s release schedule lists the same two (Take-Two). GTA V never came out on phones either. The newest GTA games you can legally play on a phone are GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas in The Definitive Edition, which Netflix added to its games library for subscribers on December 14, 2023 (Netflix).

Can you play GTA 6 on a phone at all?

Only by streaming it from a console you own. PS Remote Play streams PS5 games to iOS and Android phones and tablets, and the GTA 6 listing in the PlayStation Store says Remote Play is supported (PS Store). Sony asks for at least 5 Mbps and recommends 15 Mbps, and you’ll want a DualSense or DualShock 4 rather than touch controls (PS Remote Play).

Cloud streaming without a console isn’t confirmed. The Verge reported that Xbox secured streaming rights for GTA 6; Xbox didn’t confirm a deal and said only that the game won’t stream exclusively or to PC (fact). Nobody has said anything about phones.

Fake APKs and “GTA 6 Mobile”

Scammers know people search for this. In June, iXBT Games reported sites and Android apps that invite you to a “GTA 6 beta,” collect personal data and install malware instead of a game (the fake GTA 6 beta). Kaspersky found sites offering GTA 6 downloads for every platform, none of them real (how to download GTA 6). Install apps only from Google Play and the App Store, and never install an APK that promises GTA 6.

What to play on a phone instead

The GTA trilogy on Netflix is the closest official option. Two free “anime GTA” games run on phones too: Neverness to Everness, out since April, and NetEase’s Ananta, due January 15, 2027 (anime GTA).
