Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album comes out on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. Rockstar Games announced it with Atlantic Records on September 17: 34 original songs, six of them on streaming services now.

The first six already cover hip-hop, reggaeton, country and rock.
Vinyl and CD
Physical editions go on sale at launch. Three versions are sold only on the album’s website, gtavi-thealbum.com: a liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter vinyl and a CD in a jewel case. Retailers get their own vinyl colors with new artwork: Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent record stores.
Is this the in-game radio?
Rockstar hasn’t said. The announcement promises more about the game’s music later, including the dynamic score and what Rockstar calls “the next evolution of in-game radio.” Which of the 34 songs play on which station is still unknown.
Artists teased it first
On September 15, two days before the announcement, Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards posted GTA VI style artwork on social media. The same artwork then went up on Spotify billboards in Los Angeles, New York and Miami.
The first day in numbers
According to Spotify data published by The Music Universe, the six singles drew 4.1 million streams worldwide in their first 24 hours. Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need” entered Spotify’s US daily chart at No. 23, the highest of the six. The official Grand Theft Auto playlist got almost 400 times more plays than the day before.
