What we know

Rockstar described the weather of Leonida in Game Informer’s issue 382. Clouds move across the state and bring everything from clear skies to a downpour, and storms are local: you can stand in the sun and watch rain fall a few blocks away.

After a shower the ground stays wet. Puddles and wet surfaces remain long enough to tell that it rained, and in the right light a rainbow appears. Leonida also gets the tropical storms and hurricanes Florida is known for, though Rockstar has said nothing about how often they come or what they change in a mission.

What the issue said about the weather is in our article on storms in GTA 6.
